Cankle
It was majorly gross. EEEW. I totally should have taken a picture of it because really, why not? But of course, I didn't so there won't be any cankletasticness for the Internets today. Sorry.
Thankfully, with the help pf some hydrocortisone cream and the constant instruction from Dennis to "stop scratching," "stop scratching," "stop scratching!" "STOP SCRATCHING!!" the swelling has finally gone down and it no longer hurts to flex my foot. And it's not a minute too soon either because all that itchy was making me a little bit nuts!

Meh.
*sigh*
And it makes me sad too because so many wonderful things are happening and I'll want to remember them when I'm *cough* old someday which incidentally will be at some point this year - specifically July 23rd - because that is going to be the day when I turn 40 and gray hair will spontaneously sprout from every pore in my body and my Alzheimers will begin to rear it's ugly, ugly head.
But there I'll sit, not being able to remember a God damn thing and I won't even have a blog to read about my Wonderful Life™ and all it's gloriousness.
Crap.

The agony of defeat.
*sigh*
Well, I guess that is just the way it goes.
*cue somber melody*
In other, non-related yet still sucktastic news... I took another cut in pay this afternoon so it looks like Den and I will need to find more things to scale back on in terms of our monthly budget to the tune of approximately $100.00.
Too bad that pretty much everything that could have been cut already has been.
*SIGH*
Were not for the good news of N. and C* setting a date for their handfasting and the prospect of sitting down with N. at tonight's shindig to discuss not only her upcoming event but Dennis and mine's as well (providing that K. comes home by next spring and that we are able to scrape up some monies to purchase the necessities), this weekend would have pretty much been a bust.

Gone but not forgotten
Honestly, he was the first comedian who really tickled my sense of what was funny and ought to be laughed at. I loved his act. And his books. And the movies he did. And his complete lack of taking any of it too seriously (at least it appeared that way).
The world is gonna be such a less entertaining place now. *sniff*

Things that are irritating me right this second...
- The noisy, obnoxious kids screaming their heads off downstairs. I mean honesty, is all that racket really necessary?
- The "lady" who owns one of said noisy and obnoxious kids who insists upon smoking as she is doing her laundry because seriously? Nothing makes the whole washing my clothes so they smell nice and clean a complete waste of time like some sweat-hog who can't stop polluting her body for the entire five minutes it takes to fill up the washer or empty the dryer.
- The other sweat-hog that took it upon herself to empty my clothes from the washer so that she could use it before my clothes were even finished washing! Considering that I waited for the last one to finish her laundry before I started mine, I find that incredibly rude and classless. Not to mention a totally inconsiderate act that just added another hour onto my already pain in the ass endeavor!
- The itchy red rash that infiltrated my chest about a week and a half ago that won't go away. Aloe Vera helps but only for about half the day. I swear it has to be something in the air because my eating habits rarely change and I've used the same soap and detergent for most of my adult life.
- Work. Can someone please sign my sweetie and I up for the "do nothing all day and be rich" program? Bleh. We never seem to see each other anymore except (thankfully) on the weekends when we go to faire. And (sadly) it is only gonna get worse as summer schedule at Catalina works it's way into full swing and Dennis spends more and more time out on a boat.
